Head Protection

When choosing a hard hat and it is important to assess your hazards. Hard hats are used where there is a danger from a falling mass and bump caps are designed where bumps or scrapes could happen.

A hard hat should be replaced when weathering, damage and shell discoloration are all signed.

Hard hats have a life of up to three years from date of issue, not from manufacture.

We recommend that head suspension should be replaced every two years.
